UUSB Green Sanctuary Project

In these initial stages of the process of becoming a Green Sanctuary we are asked to conduct a survey to get you thinking about what it means to be green and to give the committee a snapshot of our Congregation's attitudes and behaviors. This is something we need to do before we can apply for certification.

The Committee’s goals for this survey are:

  • To meet a UUA requirement that a Green Sanctuary Committee conduct a survey or audit of the church and/or congregation.
  • To determine our congregation’s baseline lifestyle patterns at the start of our Green Sanctuary program, and to find out if that pattern changes in a year.
  • To help you see (from the survey questions) opportunities to reduce your ecological footprint and achieve a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle.

Just click on the appropriate link to print out the UUSB Green Sanctuary Survey. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey and then drop it in the Green Sanctuary Survey box in the Dorothy, give to a Committee member, or send to the church. We thank you in advance for your participation!
